HAPPY BIRTHDAY DC!!

My little baby is 2 years old today! DC is the happiest dog I have ever known. He has cheered me up and has brought a smile to my face an infinite amount of times! He really truly brings joy to my life and I am so thankful God gave us doggies! :)DC is so playful and puppylike every single day!! I love that he still has some of his puppy fat and puppy wrinkles in his face. I always tell Sergio that I love our dogs so much I can't even imagine what it will be like when we have kids! Those kids will be smothered in love!:)I am so thankful that we brought DC home from the pet store and made him a part of our family. Time and time again he has proven to be the most faithful and loving companion I could ever ask for! :)

Happy New Year!!!

On New Year's Day, Sergio and I had his family over to my apartment for a traditional pork and sour kraut dinner.(You have to eat sour kraut for good luck!) We also celebrated Christmas with his family that day because we hadn't had a chance to since we were in Ohio. We managed to have "Christmas" despite the fact that my Christmas tree was still up and almost completely brown and dead lol! :) I am just now finally taking down all the decorations. It is so much more fun to put up the Christmas decorations than to take them down! And now it is very cold here and feels more like Ohio than Florida:) We have had the longest spell of cold in almost a decade! It has been getting down in the 30's at night and around 50's during the day. BRRRRR! I left my winter coats in Ohio and that was a mistake! Who knew Florida would get so cold!? What a way to start off 2010! HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE! We wish each of you the best in 2010! xoxo
